Meryem Mavigoz Aricak
Artist was born in 1945, Istanbul Turkey. she started first sketches when she was teen ager. her older brother, Saban Mavigoz -
was also famous artist in istanbul-thought her first oil painting techinics early 80s. later, artist worked in several workshops to improve her oil paint technics and learnt handcraft working on
copper, aliminium and brass. Over the years artist, improved and perfected her skills on especially Ottoman Designs on aliminium and copper. since 2006, artist also started to create some modernworks, contents, pieces from nature and oil paint. Inspirations from life and and environment around us. She opened 8 exhibition, 6 of them
solo exhibitionsin istanbul, one in england, one in Argentina. artists
oil paint and hand craft still are being displayed and sold in England her last exhibition was in 2008 Istanbul. Artist still works on new art works to meet with art lovers in other exhibition.
